Post #2 /2 As I stated before several of the cards I added were pulls from Modern Horizon Boxes.
When I opened Wrenn and Six that felt like it would work well with Windgrace himself so I asked myself why not. The Life from the Loam box topper was also my open and didn't have anywhere to put it and figured it would be a nice addition with all of the graveyard work going on so far. Dragon Arch felt like it was gonna be important due to the obtuse cost of those terrible Legends creatures, generally the goal is to find that ASAP so I can start putting creatures on the board. The Mox Diamond was a recent purchase from a friend and didn't have any plans for it and figured it might work well with this deck due to the discarding a land, giving me fuel for Wrenn and Windgrace. The sack lands like Scorched Ruins, and the Lotus Vale/Field seemed like they might be worthwhile too.
Long story long, I was super surprised to see how effective this deck could be, the constant sacking of lands really gets Windgrace going, and if Wrenn is on board then it gets out of control, the Dragon Arch while important doesn't always have to be in play for the deck to go off, Exploration and Burgeoning allow it to go off the chain easily. I didn't mean for it to be so synergetic, I generally just started throwing cards at it, and was blown away by how effective it really is. The Legends creatures, while generally useless alone are out of control when you have three or more on board, they can go wide on people and they can have the odd ability that sounds dumb but is some how effective. I felt like I didn't have enough creatures initially and threw Tsabo, Vhati, and Xenagod in, they really add so much more power to it and I frequently debate removing them.
I hope you all enjoyed this post, by all means ask me any questions you may have about why I built this monkey circus of a deck.
