I have been AWOL for the last couple of weeks. I've been choosing sleep over gym.
That changed this week though. Monday was CAT bench day. Yesterday was CAT squats. Today is CAT deads. I've added something new this week too, @realmattwenning style warm-ups. I think that on Monday I pushed too hard on them and it detracted from my bench session. However, I got it just right last night. 4 sets of 25 for the following exercises:
. Calf Raises (I did these as working sets of 4x10)
. Lying Leg Curls
. Adductor Machine
. Standing Behind the Neck Barbell Press
I added the last exercise to get some good blood flow into my shoulders, upper back, and especially my triceps which were hella sore and stiff from Monday. I think that the warm-ups helped. I'm no where near as sore today as I was a couple of weeks ago when I did my first squat day. Plus, I was still able to keep my bar speed going. At least it felt that way, I didn't take any vids last night.
